Well, it was a matter of time (but we won’t mention climate change), a cyclone is headed for Brisbane. The last one was long ago, but with seas heating up & the planet getting warmer, putting moisture in the atmosphere, before long Sydney will get them too (but we won’t mention climate change).

Just like the floods of 2022, I’m expecting a ton of rain. We have our sandbags at the ready and thankfully live at the top of a hill. Enough food etc to last us and because we have 1000 people living in the house, we always have lots of toilet paper.
Kids are hoping for time off school, but that’s only happening if the government shut them down- I’m a bit evil like that. The peninsula doesn’t tend to flood majorly, so life should carry on as normal – just a bit wetter.
Im getting TC Debbie de ja vu, here’s hoping people are safe and no lives lost.
