We are good here

The cyclone was meant to come today or early hours of tomorrow, however during the night it decided to do a 360 for fun and slowed itself down.

So now it’s expected to make landfall early Saturday (possibly tomorrow night),  around Bribie Island south but this could change by the morning. It’s looking like a category 1 which is like a big Qld storm in overdrive, going longer than the normal hard and fast storms we have.

The concerns through Brisbane are flooding, but we are good where we are. We are reasonably protected from winds and on the high side, so rain runs down the hill.

The Gold Coast is copping a hammering and Northern NSW is on extreme flood watch, so I hope they are all ok.

So currently we are still waiting for what Connor calls “the apocalypse’. It’s raining slightly, but not a lot as yet. See what tomorrow brings us 😁
